Family Clay Day
My nieces and nephews came over for a clay day yesterday. We made coil bowls from paperclay. We had a lot of fun. The kids (and grown-ups!) did a great job on their pots and we are keeping our fingers crossed for a successful firing in a week or two.
We used ^5 Laguna paperclay and Coyote glazes. Since some of the children live out of town and we all have such hectic schedules, I decided to brave a single firing with the pieces. Heck, I figured, it worked with the fish!
