Kiln God

I just finished loading the kiln for a bisque firing. I’ll candle it overnight and will complete the firing by early afternoon tomorrow. Here’s the kiln god for this firing. I planned to make a troll, but he turned out more like a dwarf with a Roman nose. I put more time into him than I intended to! He stands about six inches tall.

  1. … so how did ‘Kiln God’ do through his Test of Fire. Did he prove himself worthy?

His quality of mood and stature are really unusual. With a countenance that is sure to make all travellers stop, abruptly, to notice. I would think his role would be to protect. To deter all from entering, who are *not* yet ready to be embraced by KilnFire.

And … clearly, My Dear, you put much careful attention into creating him. Nice … :-)
I’ve set up a website for the schooling I’m doing with Peter. My thought is: he and I will both contribute content for its further evolution ….

P.S Oh … I wonder … might you also have plans for a ‘Kiln Goddess’? LOL
